Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 2026
TrustHub ("we", "us", or "our") operates trusthub.id. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our platform. By creating an account or using TrustHub, you agree to this policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to us, including:
- Account information: name, email address, username, and password
- Profile information: profile photo, bio, and other details you choose to add
- Identity verification: TrustHub requires government-issued ID verification for full account access. This process is handled by our third-party provider, Didit (didit.me). We do not store copies of your identity documents — Didit processes and retains them under their own privacy policy. We receive and store only a verified status and your legal name.
- Communications: messages you send through the platform
- Usage data: pages visited, features used, and other interaction data
2. Geographic Restriction
TrustHub currently accepts members with United States government-issued identification only. By using TrustHub, you confirm that you are a US resident or hold a valid US government-issued ID. We may expand to other regions in the future.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account
- To verify your identity and maintain platform trust and safety
- To enable communications between members
- To send you service-related notifications (you may opt out of non-essential emails)
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or violations of our Terms of Service
- To improve and develop our platform
4. Identity Verification Data
All government ID verification is performed by Didit, an independent identity verification provider. When you begin verification, you are redirected to Didit's secure platform. TrustHub does not have access to, and does not store, photos of your identity documents. Didit's privacy practices are governed by their own policy at didit.me/privacy.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share your data only:
- With Didit for identity verification
- When required by law or to respond to valid legal process
- To protect the rights, property, or safety of TrustHub, our users, or the public
- With your explicit consent
6. Data Security
We use industry-standard security practices to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and secure server infrastructure. While no system is perfectly secure, we take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss.
7. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide our services. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at the address below. Verification records held by Didit are subject to their own retention policy.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights including:
- The right to access the personal data we hold about you
- The right to correct inaccurate data
- The right to request deletion of your data
- The right to object to or restrict certain processing
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details below.
9. Cookies

10. Children's Privacy
TrustHub is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us immediately.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email or through the platform. Continued use of TrustHub after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
