2. What Happens After We Receive a Notice

Upon receipt of a valid DMCA takedown notice, TrustHub will:

  • Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material promptly.
  • Notify the user who posted the content that it has been removed and provide a copy of the takedown notice.
  • Record the incident for our repeat infringer policy.

3. Counter-Notice

If you believe your content was removed in error or that you have authorization to use the material, you may submit a counter-notice. Your counter-notice must include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  4. Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, TrustHub will forward it to the original complainant. If the complainant does not file a court action within 10 business days, we will restore the removed content.

4. Repeat Infringer Policy

TrustHub maintains a repeat infringer policy. Users who are the subject of three or more valid DMCA takedown notices will have their accounts permanently terminated. Because TrustHub uses identity verification, account termination is tied to the verified identity — a terminated user may not re-register under the same or a different identity.

5. Good Faith

Please be aware that filing a false DMCA notice or counter-notice may result in legal liability. Under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly misrepresents that material is infringing, or that material was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages. We encourage you to consult with an attorney before filing a notice if you are unsure whether your copyright has been infringed.

6. Content Posted by Verified Users

All content on TrustHub is posted by users who have been verified with government-issued identification or by their authorized agents. This means copyright holders can be confident that the identity of the person who posted allegedly infringing content is known and verifiable, which supports effective enforcement of intellectual property rights.
