Google Just Dropped Stitch 2.0 — Free AI Tool That Designs Full UIs From a Conversation

Google Labs just completely redesigned Stitch, and honestly this one caught me off guard. It went from a basic AI mockup generator to a full design canvas that can take you from "I want an app that feels calm and minimal" all the way to a clickable prototype.

The big addition is what they're calling "vibe design." Instead of describing specific UI elements, you describe how you want the app to *feel*, and Stitch generates high-fidelity screens that match that vibe. You can also just talk to it — they added voice interaction so you can design by having a conversation.

A few things that stood out:

The infinite canvas is actually useful. You can lay out multiple screens, iterate on different directions side by side, and then stitch them together into a working prototype with transitions. Hit play and you're clicking through the real flow.

It's free right now. Beta phase gives you 350 standard generations and 200 pro generations per month. That's enough to actually build something real, not just kick the tires.

For anyone here building a product or even just pitching an idea, this changes the prototyping game. You used to need Figma skills and a couple days to get a decent prototype together. Now you can go from idea to interactive demo over lunch.

Curious how this stacks up against what people are already using for prototyping.
